For the audio transition try something a fill or a really well timed silence in the 4th cycle before the next section, similar to the fill in the buildup example in class.

Visually, I think there are too many different things happening. See if you can let the visuals change less often, be tied directly to the sections (so that whens the sounds switch to a new section the visuals do too at the same time), and if you can use, or two visual styles at max and just keep augmenting/changing things within that visual style.
